Our puppies under 6 months old have a slightly different adoption process.
We believe in altering our puppies once they reach the age of 6 months.
Due to this, our trial period mentioned in our adoption process does still stand.
The only big difference is we require a non-refundable spay/neuter 'deposit' (which is used towards the cost of the puppy being altered), a spay/neuter contract is also to be signed along with a pre-adoption agreement.
Our pre-adoption agreement in short lays out the general terms we expect from the adopter, and our responsibility.
The adopter is financially responsible for their puppy after their trial period is over and they have decided to move forward with adoption.
Ownership of the puppy will NOT be permanently changed until the day of the puppy being altered and we receive proof via spay/neuter certificate from the licensed veterinarian who does the surgery.
Our rescue requires all of our dogs to be spayed/neutered, as do most state laws.
We work hard in saving the lives of our pups out of high kill shelters, most of these dogs exist usually because of backyard intentional breeders or 'accidental' litters.
We do not ever want any of our dogs to contribute to the already serious overpopulation of dogs in the world today.
